The Grove is a gathering place on Wurundjeri land created to explore the wholistic nature of women's spirituality. It is a place of welcome to all women. The Grove began in 1991 when two women shared their desire to create a space where women could explore their spirituality through connection to their own story. These two founding women saw a need and followed a dream. This led them to an attic of a house situated in the street, "The Grove", in East Coburg. From there all that The Grove has come to be for so many slowly developed. It is now well known across Melbourne and beyond. In 1996 it transferred to its present site, on the bend in the road in Nicholson Street, East Brunswick. It continues to attract women of all ages and walks of life to its gentle atmosphere and diverse programs.
